The Christmas season is always a busy one for the Cambridge Girls' Choir and this year was no exception.

In November, our choir helped kick-off the Cambridge Memorial Hospital's 2013 Fundraising Campaign and also sang O' Canada at a hockey game for our own Cambridge Winterhawks.

We continued our tradition of performing as part of the Music & Lights in the Village concert. After the performance, our girls enjoyed the hot chocolate and treats in downtown Hespeler as the tree was lit.

In December the Choir performed the Christmas in the Neighbourhood event at our sponsor organization, Fiddlesticks Community Centre and also held a special "Rehearsal with an Audience" at the Queen's Square Retirement Home. Many of the residents were able to come out and enjoy the seasonal tunes.

Finally, the Choir continued its long-standing tradition of being a featured artist at the Noon-Time Music Series at St. Andrew's Church in Kitchener and ended the season with a Family Concert & Fundraiser held at Trillium United Church in Cambridge. Funds raised will go towards the Choir's upcoming tour to New York City!
Thanks girls, Mr. West, Jessica, all the parents for making this such a great holiday season!  See you in January!
